Well it has been a while since I last posted, with old rona still hanging around and not much changing in my fertility journey, I haven’t had much to write about.
Since my birthday blog, I have received a letter from the clinic, containing a fertility questionnaire, one for me and one for Ben, also a list of tests for us to have done. We have had all the listed tests done and the questionnaire has been returned to the clinic. So now we wait eagerly for an appointment to come through.
Hopefully by the time of the appointment, My weight is under what they want it to be and we can push forward to start IVF as soon as possible!! Fingers crossed by next Christmas we will have a baby or at least be expecting one!
I am really struggling with weight loss at the moment, I have lost around 2 stone so far and now the scales seem to have stopped moving, which to be quite frank is pissing me right off! I eat well on the most part and I do a lot more exercise than I used to do… I am hoping that if I stick to it, I will see a big difference on the scales soon!
This week I embarked on a new challenge… I started couch to 5K. I have always said that I would love to be able to run but until now the only reason I would have ran is if I was being chased. However, that is about to change! Week one of Couch to 5K is complete, this consists of 3 “outings” including some walking and running, all 3 are the same in the first week and it is a really good way to glide you into running gently. Each run I could feel myself struggling less, and I didn’t hate it! Actually I quite looked forward to it! Next week the running times go up and I am a bit scared I wont lie, but I will give it my all!
It seems like a year ago now, but I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! It was so lovely just to have one day with my family ❤ We ate until we felt like we would explode, we watched Queenies speech, which was a bit emosh this year to be fair, and played some funny games, my personal favourite was accentuate, I hated when it was my turn to do an accent but watching everyone else was hilarious, we ended the evening crying with laughter and that is what Christmas is all about.
Ben & I are giving our office a huge makeover this weekend, meaning a much nicer space for me to write in and for Ben to edit his videos and photos in. We have worked on the plan for a while and I really hope it ends up as good, if not better than we have imagined! I will keep you posted.
A bit of a boring one this time, and not much about fertility, but I felt it had been too long since I posted! Catch up soon!
